Ya'll rock. Thanks for being so super awesomely supportive with all my scheisse.
The scheisse? It is clearing...
The score stands...
Pixiestikz 3 Mice 0
I do have to lament on one observation...
After I got Harvey, it is my belief I am now eradicating the offspring of Harvey.
Whom I believe was a MRS. Harvey.
Seriously, the little ones are Break your Heart Cute. *Sob*
I set more traps. I haven't seen any more turds.
That is all I can say. Yay for me. I'm winning.
My Car?
Not totalled.
My Knee?
Not totalled, either.
8 more days until my little red dirt devil is back...
I lose major coolness points in my Apt. Complex for getting rid of the 2006 Nissan Altima.
(yes, I'm the neighbor with the almost 5 year old car with the stickers
proclaiming my knittiness to all)
Yeah...I'm real sorry to see the gas guzzling behemoth go.
I like little cars...
I like to breathe relatively smog free air...
I like to pay less than 30 bucks at the pump even when gas is close to 3 bucks a gallon...
I like to park in small spaces...
I like not having to make 17 point turns to get out of a parking spot...
*ahem, my apologies if you were behind me when I was doing that
- I was just as upset as you were.*
I like not getting speeding tickets because my car objects to going over 75... ($#@*!!)
I like the comfort of my programmed buttons on my stereo...
I like being able to shrug off a few stray cheerios in the backseat...
Okay...Okay...
I do like the trunk opener remote thingy...
and how I can make it honk from like 100 yards away.
hee hee.
Me likey.
Me scare the nice lady in the Target Parking lot. shhhh.
Pixie was very happy that our car "twinkle" isn't going to be totalled.
Pixie spent the weekend at the Beach with her Dad for Father's Day...
I knitted and I studied for my sailing class. More on that later!
I'll be posting some Red progress soon... I'm on Sleeve Island! Wooo!
PS.
If you are using Oasis...it doesn't hide increases very well.
This raglan? She is the hottness! I love it.
The collar's short rows should be fun.
PSS.
I ordered some Dale to make THIS...
Arrr, My first Fair Isle. A Pirate hat! (MUST.FINISH.RED)
I LOVE Kidsknits. Seriously, fabulous service from an awesome knitter
Go! Buy! You'll be happy.
PSSS.
I mean no offense to anyone who doesn't drive a clown car like me.
I'm just an awful driver. (yes, many people can confirm this)
Imagine the worst driver you've ever encountered on the road.
Now, Triple it. It doesn't even come close to how bad I am. :)
Just so's you know. No offense meant. I'm just a wee bit better than totally horrific in the smaller vee-hicles.
But FYI...this time?...My first official accident wasn't MYfault. (I still love saying that)
honk honk!

Glad your winning the critter battle. I had to fish a dead bird out of my little pond last night. *shudder*
Posted by: Moni at June 19, 2006 11:28 AMHonk honk!
You never cease to amaze me. Sailing lessons??? You totally ROCK. You have to tell us about it! And, of course, you need a sailing sweater to go with it. Something like the red and white stripey number? Hee hee!
Posted by: Becky at June 19, 2006 11:32 AMI will, my dearest H2, attest to the fact that you are indeed not a fabulous driver, even though that is an insult to myself. I do remember a horrific green monster that we cruised in....hehehehe!!! I do not understand how you could not be a good driver after all the years you spent as my co-pilot in trainig. After all, I am a multitasking driver extraordinaire. How many things can H2 do while driving? I am certain it is 1... drive. I will say prayers to the Goddesses that you achieve driving excellence soon... Love Ya, Cat
Posted by: Cathee at June 19, 2006 11:39 AMI'm happy to hear that neither the Dirt Devil nor your knee are totalled! nd congrats on erradicating the mice... the little ones ARE cute, but not when they're pooping on your clean towels.
You're not that bad of a driver! I was rarely frightened whilst riding with you last month!
Posted by: keowdie at June 19, 2006 12:22 PMSorry to hear about the accident and your mousy situation, but it sounds to me like you have the right attitude about both!
Posted by: Erin at June 19, 2006 01:36 PMOh Twinkle will be back soon! Can't wait! you know me - I love my small car too! When our cars are parked next to each other, it is like Christmas!

I know how you feel about the meeses. I feel the same way about the creepy Alien/Predator spawn bugs that that I keep finding in the house - blech! It still makes me sad to kill them though. I'll send some good karma your way to help out.
Missin' ya!
