Holiday Rush...

Happy Holidays! Long time no blog!

I've wrapped up a couple things and begun another project.
*Sounds like a good way to end 2005, wouldn't you agree?

I needed a quicky stash busting project...for a Teacher Present!

Ribbed Keyhole Scarf
Yarn: Classic Elite Beatrice - 100% Merino

I knit like 22 inches in a stressful meeting this week...more than 4 people commented how amazed they were to see it grow from 2 inches to 22!
It must be knitters magic...if they only knew our math!
US10.5+Bulky Yarn=20 inches in 60 minutes

Here is my beginning...of CLAPOTEE!

This yarn is so absolutely stunning...I love it.

I got it in the Semi-Annual MD KnitNite Yarn Soiree...that's a swap, you know...
Donna is friends with the owner of Dancing Leaf.
Yarn:Dancing Leaf Salsa
Color: Mermaid (which is now the name of my clappy)

I was tagged by lovely Moni,Moni to do a MeMe...

List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they’re any good, but they must be songs you’re really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your blog along with your seven songs.

1. Jump - Madonna (Confessions on a Dance Floor)
Awesome!
2. Hung Up - Madonna (Confessions on a Dance Floor)
LOVE IT!
3. It's Not Right, But it's Okay (Thunderpuss Remix) - Whitney Houston
Empowering!!
4. Holding Out for a Hero - FrouFrou
Excellent Cover...
5. Rocket Man - Dame Elton John
Hello! Rocket Woman here!
6. Willy Wonka - Veruca Salt's Song...
This is a Cowgirl Classic.
7. Love at First Sight - Kylie Minogue
This is me & Pixie's song...

I never said I had musical taste...but I dig it!
Leave me some suggestions in the comments! I'll check them out!

So I've got to finish up my holiday knitting which equals one more toe-up-sock which fits Pixie like a glove...so that will be a stocking stuffer for her.

I have to knit 2 cabled scarves, a pair of tube socks and 1 pair of fingerless gloves...and all recipients will be be getting them sometime after Jan. 16...

Have a wonderful holiday...I'm working right up to the 22nd...so I'll catch ya'll in 2006...

Holla!

*;) Ya know?!!
