Your bolero looks mahhhvelous! Beautiful job - and it looks great on you.

How did you like the Cathay? Does it pill? So many of her yarns do that I've been nervous to use it.

Hey it doesn't pill...but it's splitty to the max and it SNAGS. yeeikes!
Think embroidery floss
(That was a good one Susan - Labradorable)

but it's a great summer weight yarn.
and very very soft.

LOVE IT! Crap, now I want one :-)

Totally cute!! So much better than all those other shrugs. Guess I'll have to add it to the ever growning list!

I love it! Actually, the ribbing doesn't seem so daunting now that I see the whole sweater laid out pre-seaming. I can't wait to finish it so that I can wear it. I hope mine looks as good as yours.

Hey There H! Your bolero looks terrific - congrats for your lovely FO. :) I'm knitting the retro rib socks right now and they are making me crazy, so seeing your finished socky is a real morale booster for me!

Take care!

Soooooooooo cute on you! Enjoy it!

Super cute, and fits just right, too. Awesome job - clearly you are leaps ahead of me in the technique department. It's clear gauge was on target, something I can only get when I'm doing a test swatch but never on the real thing.

Congrats! And I love the pink monkeys!

wow H! that came out sooo fabo!! What a great pattern and an excessivily qualified knitter to complete it always helps. Great work! the fit is to dye for and you are going to get so much wear out of it being black too. You clever monkey :D

Posted by: Kath at June 29, 2005 07:33 PM

Ole!

By the way, that bolero looks so far superior on you than in the pattern pictures. I wasn't a fan before...but now...

Posted by: Sarah at June 30, 2005 04:54 PM

Okay, darnit, you are so cute and adorable in this bolero I could just die. I hope I look even HALF as good as you do in yours. It came out fabulous, and fits you perfectly!!!
