Okay...here is my yarn haul from the weekend.

Needle: 3 1/2 to 4 mm (US 4-5)

Schulana SuperCotton (70% cotton 30% acrylic)
Color #65 (lime green)

yeah! nice.
Someone is going to have a one skein wonder soon, methinks.

I'm so distracted from the bolero, because I got stalled knitting this.

It's that old story...so close to being finished, and startitis strikes.

Tonight. The bolero and I will finish up the edging. I'm so close and it's so cute.

Oh, and I got this 3 days before it was scheduled to hit newsstands in the UK...via ebay! This is definately my new favorite mag.

Plus! *Free Cable Needles*... I know, like I need any more dammed needles...but I just love free stuff!

(P.S. Thanks for all your lovely comments yesterday...I just love reading about everyone's lives in knit-blogland and thought I'd share a little about my fDH and our adventures...)

(P.S.S. Last night, I spent over an hour on the Phone with The Muse!!! She's in town for the week...and man, I haven't laughed so much in a long dammed time. I think we just click! I can't wait until tomorrow night and thursday knit night!)

I love that scarf you are making. The colors are so pretty!

Gosh, the last balls of the Cotton Ease? I AM JEALOUS. I did not see anymore at the JoAnn in Columbia, but there were some there a few days before... they are renovating there (we should check it out) and everything is in weird places.

The SuperCotton you got is so pretty! Do you have a pattern in mind for that? another shrug? :)

Looking forward to seeing your new mag! I liked the other one a lot.

See you soon, H! xo

Yum. Your new yarn all looks so yummy!
You started the scarf without me! [chuckles to self] That's okay... it looks great. I agree with Lolly: the color is amazing.

Love you!

P.S. yeah, we definitely have great kids... do you ever wonder how that happened? [thinks back to childhood - eye twiches]

Have a great day!

Quite a nice haul, between the two shops. I am eagerly anticipating your edging the bolero, as it seems really, really tedious, but if you can have fun with it I will have to adjust my attitude and not dread the moment when I reach that point in the bolero.

Love the scarf and the yarn, of course.
You are making me very jealous with that magazine deal. Ever since you mentioned it I've looked everywhere for it to no aval. I didn't try Ebay, though. Hmmm...

I love new yarn purchases! And a new knitting mag...I LOOOVE knitting mags :)

I saw that Simply Knitter in B&N the other day...they've got some great stuff in there! The format's cute too, I feel like I'm reading a teen mag.

Great haul, lady! I love the Cotton-Ease color. The first sweater I ever made was out of Cotton-Ease - and there are SO many mistakes. But luckily my sister is the owner of that one!!

I'll have to check out that mag....looks good!

I love that scarf! but don't you hate startitis? I've been fighting with that virus for a long time. I love the little wrappy thingy on the cover of the knitting magazine.

I can't wait to see your new mag! All the yarn is so pretty. Love the green for the OSW.

Your Moorehouse shawl is looking very nice.

Really looking forward to Thursday. :-)

I love the yarn you bought, and I'm glad you mentioned the new Simply Knitting-I got the first one, and wanted to get more, and I found someone on eBay selling them, too! Woo hoo!

Your yarn-girl festival-boy compromise post made me smile. Glad to see you've found a balance together and you are so happy! :) Fun yarns and magazine... that's a new one for me... is it UK only?

AUGH!!! I have been looking everywhere for Strawberries and Cream Cotton Ease!! I'm only slightly less jealous since I need 6 skeins. (Don't know if you've seen the pattern called "Crumpets" (at creazativity dot com)- it's a little girl's sundress made with Cotton Ease that is so unbelievably adorable!! I finished one for a baby in white, and want to make one in the pink for my niece.)

Anyway - good for you on your stash enhancement!!
