Hood Up!

So pleased to finally be together!

I know I'm a super slow knitter, but really this is the hardest project I have done yet. I think that it made me a better knitter. I have a tendancy to just say "eh, F*ck it" if I make a smallish mistake...but with Rogue I ripped them all out and redid all the little mistakes. Boy, did they add up! I am so thrilled with how Rogue came out. Of course, it's 85 degrees today. Oh well!
Whee! I have been saying the same thing to my pals... "Can you believe I am done?!!"
I love it. LOVE IT!
WOO HOO! Break out the champagne, my dear, because Rogue is gaw-geous!!! I'm proud of you for ripping out and fixing all those mistakes, too. Such a ripping punk, I am.
Pixie is the cutest. We can't get enough pictures of her, you know. Post more!
P.S. Swatching tonight!
Posted by: Becky at April 19, 2005 10:24 AMLove the Rogue! Isn't it a great feeling to finish that sucker? I love mine too, but now Mass. is having some super warm weather, I may not wear it again for months...your daugther is a cutie pie!
Posted by: Mia at April 19, 2005 10:27 AMStoopid Bloglines didn't tell me you had posted. Anyhoo, I love Rogue. You look great in her. And just think, when Fall hits, you will be stylin'. Sorry to hear that Pixie was sick but she sure does look cute. Have a super week!

Posted by: Jenny at April 20, 2005 02:12 AMYAY isn't Rogue the best? I'm actually going to make another rogue (someday) and re-doing projects is against my religion. But that sweater is just that good. I read somewhere a long time ago that people were sick of that sweater and wouldn't it suck to make a sweater that absolutely everyone had and the best response I saw to that was: Heck no, Rogue is a classic.
Yours is gorgeous and no matter how long it took, it was worth the wait!
Posted by: jenifleur at April 20, 2005 02:46 AMYour Rogue is absolutely gorgeous. I love the tweediness of the yarn, and it looks lovely on you. Wear it with pride!
