3 more days...

Until D day!!

Friday, my friends, Friday.

I have been dancing around the house, work and parking lots listening to my Ipod DD Mix, it's obscene. Did I mention I have great seats? Did I mention that I am thrilled/excited/freaking out? Did I mention I feel like I'm 16, not 30? Did I mention that it's only 3 days away?

Oh, I did?
Well...

Did I mention I am done with my short raglan sweater?

Take a look!
Please pardon the "I'm in the bathroom at work" shot. As I only just weaved in all the ends. See the lengths I go for my knitting? (and yes, I am having a bad hair day a la Stevie Van Zant)

Stop the press...Chez P'Knitz has a FO. Well...wonders never cease. You can't see the raglan decreases, but they are HOT.

Stay Tuned. Rogue's hood has now made it's way on the sticks and is steadily growing...we may have another FO to report soon.

I've shared the gorgeous invites that launched a thousand requests...and for those of you who know me, know I have been stressing over a certain Bridal Tea that was scheduled for this past Saturday...Well, the event has come and gone, all rain and no shine...but I have to say it was a great time!

Here is one snapshot of my beautiful best friend, Kelley, surrounded by friends and family...looking radiant as always.

Just a little over a month until the big event!

Well, I gotta motor...but I will leave you with my sexy hot punk knitting bag.
Duuuude, this bag rocks.

You Sexy Ol Bag, You!

ok, first off i have been thinking about trying to rock that head gear, but can't come up with a way that doesn't make me look like aunt jemima (no offense auntie). second, that bag is outrageously cute. third, that sweater is so cool. love the dark little number. and lastly not only am i diggin your rock star look, but you're able to wear that to work. now that's a perk!

The new FO looks great, love the length, or lack thereof. Ooh, and your new knitting bag looks so good with that Coach I see hiding behind it. Ahh, Coach :)

OK, where was I when you announced what show you're seeing? What is D?

The sweater looks great! I love the bandana look as well, bad hair day or no.

Weird, I was driving to work this morning wondering if you had gone yet to your Duran Duran concert (I have a long commute :P ). You will have to give us all the juicy details!

The short raglan sweater turned out really cute!

hey H I'm at home cleaning out my old crap, and I have like a zillion DD posters I got rid of! How could I??? Well, they were all torn up and creased etc, but I did think of you. Too bad none were in good condition. ;-)

Have super fun at the show!!!!

*Sigh* Blow Simon a big kiss for me. While in LA, my friend Adri and I listened to 80's music the entire time. DD was heavy in the mix. Love the sweater. Glad that someone has FO's to show...

It was great that you guys had such a good Celebration at the Tea House. I LOVE it there! I would have loved to have met Kelly since I hear so much about her. Maybe one day.

I love your cropped sweater. Cute pic! I need to see it in person though.

Also...bring your new punk knitting bag Thursday, K?
I want to see it!

I went to the DD concert last month and it.was.great! I actually thought about trying to find the money to fly out to another one of their concert dates, but I think my hubby would threaten to divorce me if I suggested it. :-)

I was wondering when DD was going to hit you, because they were in Boston this past weekend. I didn't go, but I figured you'd be seeing them soon.

I *love* the knitting bag, but I wonder if the camo print would clash with my lambi cami bag. Time for *another* new purse for me????

So glad that the tea went well! Everyone looks like they are enjoying themselves in that photo. That is one kickin' knitting bag! Your FO looks fab! Enjoy your concert!!!

Hey sweet H, love the new raglan sweater--when I see you next, we will take that flamenco picture :)

I hope you have a good time at Knit Nite, and at the concert! I know you have been so excited about it :P

Hope to talk to you soon!

Have fun at the show... no stalking them backstage! Love the FO and you look so freaking skinny in that picture, I want to hand you a burger (please know that I mean that with the utmost love and affection... I was complaining on my blog that I think I've gained weight)

13 is an unlucky number so I am commenting...

:) 2 more days.

Day-UM, that is one fine-looking sweater. But hello! I'm totally jealous that you can have a bad hair day and end up looking like some glam rock star hanging out in Cannes. If I try to wear a scarf like that I look like I'm having a bad hair day and, well...that's about it.

P.S. Thanks for flashing your camo bag. I'm in serious want now, I'll have you know!
