Well, on my virtual travels in the last 48 hours, I was snared by the lovely siren's song of WEBS, and was horribly disappointed to find they do not carry Addi NATURA's. These are my favorite needles! So, I distracted myself with an accessory that I have been eyeballing for a long time...I saw this in the Knit.1 Lionbrand Vogue knitting maglet...and I bookmarked the site and kept revisiting...telling myself, "NO!"
I meandered back to the site, "just to look"...in part due to coveting Moni's Jordana Paige, knowing it wasn't really me 'cause I am really hard on bags...and just chucking my stingy frugal ways...(I am the knitter who can't bear to buy a swift, and whines to her knit buds to use theirs)...I got it!
Then I ordered my 2 pairs of bamboo addi's (2 & 3 US) for my spring/summer project. From Here, Free shipping for teeny needles!
Whew! I am done for a while. Now I can get back to knitting.
I am so close on Rogue I can taste it...but of course I needed to start a WORK knitting project. So I have one back and 1/2 sleeve done on this guy...in black hunky chunky yarn...

I have only been knitting on this guy at work..(lots of meetings), and I have to say...love knitting on the US13's!
Rogue has like a smidge left on her sleeve caps (no boring pic)...so tonight, finish up and get off Sleeve island and get out my handy dandy hood cable charts, and have this sweater to wear!
You have to check out my sister's new sweater for my nephew...She did a great job! And that lilman is too cute for words...go on, go visit!
Girl, that bag is HOT HOT HOT. It is so you! :) love it! It is hard to tell how big it really is, but I am sure I will get to see up close and personal before long.
Promise me that when you finish that short raglan (uber cute, btw) that you will flamenco like that with your hair all whisped in your face... please! That is the perfect photo op :)
This is going to look SO good on you--black short raglan with a hot pink tee underneath? HOT!
xoxo H!
Posted by: Lolly at March 30, 2005 10:11 AMHey, I took a flamenco class in college and it was the best class I ever had. Wish I hadn't waited until senior year to try it. Damn.
LOVE the punk rock knitting bag! I may have to go get one myself (not that I need another mind you...)
Posted by: melanie at March 30, 2005 10:55 AMONLY if you take my pic doing that...and I don't look totally stupid. heehee, HOT!
Posted by: heather - my damn blog at March 30, 2005 10:55 AMKnitting bags are popping up all over the place! And everyone's moving out of the sweater phase and into the summer projects. Gotta love spring!!! I'm lovin that short little number you're knitting on at work. Lolly said it best... HOT!
Posted by: Erin at March 30, 2005 11:07 AMWell you didn't get the Da Nang cami's...but at least you got a really cool knitting cami backpack! Can't wait to see it.
What's this...You're knitting something new & I didn't know about it? Very, very, very cute & HOT as was already stated!
See you tomorrow H!
Posted by: Eilene at March 30, 2005 01:04 PMHi H,
Very cool bag..totally you!
All that talk about the Addi Natura's...now I think I'm gonna have to try them out! You're a bad influence...thanks;)
BTW, yes, to the pink under that cute little sweater..is there any other color?
Wow, I love the WORKING on this at work top. Is it knitted from the top down in one piece. I am so afraid of my current sweater not working out that I am going to go on a mental vacation with my next few projects and only knit from the top down. I am not a pieces of this and that and mattress stitch it all for hours in the end, knitter. So tell me this is a top down one piece please.
Posted by: kathy b at March 30, 2005 02:24 PMHi heather,

Heather, I love that bag! Nice choice, and so you :)
Posted by: Moni at March 31, 2005 09:26 AMThat new bag is awesome!! It is totally you... Can't wait to see the finished Rogue!
Posted by: Amanda at March 31, 2005 10:41 AMSo there was a detour, but I see you made it back alright. That's a great knitting bag. I like your work project, it should be real quick with the chunky yarn and the cropped length.
Posted by: Vicki at March 31, 2005 11:39 AMLove the knitting bag! Very Heather! Ahhh.... it takes me back.
Okay, enough of that. I can't wait to see you in the new project; it's PERFECT for your frame. You'll look adorable in it!
Love You!
Posted by: Keowd at March 31, 2005 01:23 PMHeather, gf, you're killing me with this fab stuff you've posted. Killing me! Day-UM, I love that bag. I love that mini sweater, too. What yarn is that? If there is something from my stash that you'd like and you wouldn't mind a future swap, let me know.
P.S. Have you ever tried INOX bamboo circs? They're currently my faves. I got tired of Crystal Palace's join snagging on my yarn and Clover's cord is not flexible enough. (And don't I sound whiny?)
