I forgot to post a couple things yesterday...
On Saturday I whipped up a prototype for my Ipod Holder.
I used the most gorgeous Manos I have ever seen (and bought)...
I think it's cute. But the flap needs a bit of work.

I did a crochet edge on the flap...and attempted (read:ripped out) to edge the sides of the flap as well...but I am thinking that garter (since it doesn't roll) would be better. But it works for now. Plus it's got pink to match my IPod!
A HUGE thanks goes to my very own pal IndigoMuse as she sent me this springy pick me up...

I have worn this fleur everywhere since getting it...and it caused quite a ruckus at the JoAnne's! People have complemented me on it left and right...I coordinate my shirts around it! Teehee...Thanks T!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE it! And I am framing one of the cards...they are too awesome to send!
I love that all the Girl Scouts are coming out of the woodwork! Brownies keeps us cowgirls busy, plus we get to sell COOKIES (September 2005)...oh yes I will be one of those co-workers we all know and love...the Cookie Shiller.
"Would you like to have some Girl Scout Cookies?"

In a word...Samoas.
Rogueish Knit News
I have completed the cabling on the sleeves and am zooming toward the sleeve caps. I have to pinch myself...I am almost done with this lovely knit!
Make it a great day!
Posted by Heather at March 16, 2005 08:29 AMHey lady - Your IPOD cozy is so lovely. Manos is one of my favorite yarns. The colors are so amazing...
Can't wait to see Rogue!
Posted by: melanie at March 16, 2005 09:33 AMI think I have that Manos colorway in my stash. I love it too. I want to be first in line for some Samoas this fall. I love the combo of coconut and chocolate.
I'm so glad you got your goodies and you're enjoying them. Happy Spring!

Posted by: Eilene at March 18, 2005 10:13 AMOh, you are just terrible posting that photo of the beloved Samoa...now I want one. :) That flower is so pretty! Enjoy your weekend!
Posted by: sUsAn at March 18, 2005 02:01 PMWill you be taking online cookie orders? Do girls go door-to-door anymore? Cause I never get girl scouts at my door. And they'd love me too. One year I bought like 8 boxes from a friend's daughter. YUM!
Posted by: Vicki at March 19, 2005 02:29 PMMmm...we totally missed the boat on GS cookies this year. :( Cute cozy. Debbie Bliss' Maya yarn really looks a lot like the Manos. Even that same color.
