Last evening Jenna and I went to our Investiture Ceremony for Brownie Girl Scouts. This means she was pinned and recited the Girl Scout Promise. It was very sweet. (re: the title of this entry)

Here she is getting her Brownie Pin and her World Trefoil Pin...

Doesn't she look happy?
On the Knitting Front...
a FO

This is my Koigu Scarf, I have been toting around with me to meetings, dental appointments, etc. I still have to block it (yeah, right)
Here's how it looks on...

1 ball of Koigu (color:?)
Size 2 needles
Pattern from Koigu Scarves Book I picked up at Stitches East
Fringe added per moi
Rogue Progress

I did most of this watching Troy last night. There were numerous shots of Mr. Pitt's physique. It made for good knitting, except my Boyo noticed I was ogling, and not just once! Teehee...
Goodies I shared with Lauren on Saturday...Don't you just love Petit Fours?

We had an excellent time, just enjoying the time to sit, chat and knit.
Your little pixie is adorable. I *so* wanted to be a brownie when I was little. Alas, my mom always said no and I always felt left out. Sad.
Progress on Rogue looks good...keep it coming!

Oh we did have a lovely time! I just loved seeing Miss Pixie, and of course, hanging out with my H! Thanks for a very fun time!
Love the Koigu scarf---isn't there a certain thing you left out of this post? Don't tell me you frogged it! (cozy?)
Talk to you soon, sweets :)

Posted by: Lauren at March 15, 2005 01:19 PMCongratulations Miss Pixie! [Doing the Girl Scout salute to you.]
Your FO looks fab. And Rogue is on its way! I'm chuckling at Boyo's eagle eye. Whenever there's a film with K-e-a-n-u on I try to act like I'm really intent on the knitting, but hubbo knows better. Hee!
Posted by: Becky at March 15, 2005 01:22 PMOMG! Your pixie's brownie experience reminds me of when I was in Brownies at her age..She does look so happy. Love the koigu scarf!
Posted by: Moni at March 15, 2005 02:00 PMPixie is so cute! I just talked with some adorable girl scouts about their favorite Girl Scout cookies. I didn't realize so much of a scarf could result from 1 ball of koigu.
Posted by: Lauren at March 15, 2005 04:42 PMOh my goodness, she is such a cutie! When I read the title of your entry, I automatically starting reciting the pledge in my head...I'm still a Girl Scout at heart!! :)
Congrats to Pixie and you, Proud Mama!
Posted by: Carrie at March 15, 2005 04:55 PMIs she just staring brownies? She's so cute! I love the scarf, I'll have to try and find that book, A Koigu scarf sounds like fun. Your petit fours look tasty!
Posted by: Vicki at March 15, 2005 09:17 PMI just want to pinch Pixie's cheeks everytime I see her. What a cutie! I love the scarf but I must admit that the Petit Fours really distracted me. I've been on a bit of a quest for decadent (well worth the calories to make me want to fall off the diet wagon) desserts. Yum!

Posted by: Tanya at March 15, 2005 10:03 PMLook at your pixie. How proud you must be. I also tried to knit during Troy but someone (I'm talking to you, Orlando!) was distracting. ;-)
