First, let me say that I am feel so fortunate to have such wonderful knit pals.
We had a delish dinner at Pasta Blitz, and had a great time looking at new mags, admiring our yarns, and just generally having fun.

That yarn you see them admiring is for Ei's new project Olive. I hope she posts a pic soon, because that yarn is B-e-a-utiful!
Here's one of all of us...

Donna, H and Ei
As if spending time wasn't enough, look what they blessed me with!

Ei knows I love anything with pixies/faeries...Aren't these candles just terrific?
Donna went to the retreat and brought us all back a little treat for spring & summery scarves! I think she's right about the color being similar to Rogue, don't you? I love it... Thank you both for being so thoughtful!
I did get to make some progress on my sleeves...it's not much...but it's hard to cable when you are chatting and cutting up!

Upon coming home, look what I was greeted with...

Australian Yarn! I am so relieved. I really want to get moving on the sleeves and if you look closely at my progress pic...you can see one of those skeins is almost used up!
Ozeyarn has earned a place in my heart for being the smartest online yarn store I have ever done business with...They sent me the one thing knitters love outside of actually visiting a Yarn Store...They sent me...well, you look!

Holy Sample Cards, Batman!!
Oh my goodness. Talk about jumping around my kitchen last nite at 10pm!
So many colors, so many choices...*drools*
I love you OZEYARN!
Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and I hope to get the cables done on my sleeves!
Posted by Heather at March 11, 2005 09:46 AMOh, how I missed you all last night! I am so glad you had fun ! Great pics! You look great in your Klaralund. I love the colors you chose.
Oh wow, love that Down Under yarn! That is so cool that you found the last balls of the dyelot. You are a sleuth!
Have any free time this weekend? Email me and maybe we can get together!
xoxo

Posted by: froggy at March 11, 2005 02:19 PMDid you ask for the samples? Those are too much fun. I'd say you've got some keepers for friends there :)
Posted by: Vicki at March 11, 2005 02:52 PMYou look so cute in your Klaralund!!! I can't wait to get there & meet the gang. You're so lucky to have such a great group of knitters!
I like your new yarn too... is it soft? can I pet it when I visit???
Love you!
Posted by: Keowd at March 11, 2005 03:18 PMI love that they send those - I got some with my order from them a year or so ago. They rock!
Now you can do your sleeves, yay Heather!
Posted by: Jenny at March 12, 2005 01:14 AMTrust us Aussies to come up with the goods!
Posted by: Kath at March 12, 2005 07:29 PMI covet your samples. They're even better than yarn you actually own because yarn you have is stash you *have* to knit whereas sample cards are potential! Drooldrooldrool!
Posted by: jenifleur at March 15, 2005 02:41 AMHey H...I'm still alive. I've been brain dead with working & researching my new web site.
