F-R-I-D-A-Y spells relief

Well, I have to say that this has been a great week.

I grafted successfully.
I was RAOKed Thanks, Kate! I love amazon!
I got to hang with my knitbuds (and rocky raccoon).
I booked my caribbean vacation for May 05.

Ah...but I am glad it's friday. Outside of a Brownie Girl Scout event tomorrow, I have this weekend slated for some major knitting: Rogue's hood redux, finishing touches on Boyo's Kufi and perhaps some work on a naughty blue sweater front stuffed under my bed.

I also have to take this opportunity to showcase some excellent work.
No, it's not my own.

Background: My best friend is getting married. I am honored with being able to stand at her side during the event and celebrate with her. We have been friends for close to 10 years. We are about 12 hours apart, born on the same day/year. I love and cherish her friendship.

I am giving her a bridal tea here.

I requested my sister Kelly, of KeowdieKnits to make invites for me. I love her cards!

I remember being rather vague about the requirements. Something like, classic... wedding...tea...
This is what she presented me with:

Aren't they fantastic? She is HELLA talented...and I am not just a little biased.
Exquisite. I was floored. I almost don't want to give any out! Just kidding, sorta.

So, not only is my sister an awesome knitter/sister/mother/professional, she is a card creating maven.

Thanks for letting me brag :)

Hope you have a great weekend!!

Oh yeah, I took that pic!! That was a fun day and it was great to meet Kelley!

Kelly Keowd is so crafty--those are great invites. My mom recently got into the paper crafting too, and it looks so neat.

No pics from last night? That is okay, we had a good time anyway--I love the one I got of you and Ei!!!
