Valentines...

Oh boy. I ordered my valentine's present today. This may seem weird to some, but I pick out my own presents.

I guess it's "Go right to the Source" and it's a great idea!

I got it personalized! I love that! Well, I am a HUGE fan of audio books...and Audible is okay in my book...plus I can listen to them on my ipod while knitting! Not to mention all my dd play lists!

Well, enough about presents...I had Dearest Ei over last nite for some Kir Royales and some Rogue knitting...with it being so cold, I didn't want to take Pixie out and about, so lucky for us, we had a little company! It was a great time. She's beginning the Rogue body, I am on my 36 or some rows knitting back and forth on the back armhole shaping...so we're cruising along.

Startitis ALERT!!

I think I am going to make Clap-o-tee next and I am going to make the
Boogie vest from Knitty...here is the yarn I got to make it with. I love this color!

Reynolds Lopi in 453 Cocoa Tweed

I just really thought that would be great to transition seasons this year. Plus I love the design. I know K did it...and hers was really nice in Blue...and I believe it will be a quick knit.

(I have to finish the back, add the lace and seam)

Banff - Some Elann wool in Lapis
(I only have the ribbing done on one side)

I definately need to finish one BOTH of those before starting on anything else!!!

It's a really great yarn.
Ozeyarn has a good selection at a good price...even though it is in Australia...it's still a better price even with Shipping from down undah.

Lucky girl! I wish I could get a V-Day present like that. And personalized too. For some reason I'd never really noticed Boogie, but now I'm thinking it's pretty cool. Darn, another pattern to go on my list :)

I don't think that's weird at all..My husband and I do that all the time with our gifts, too (must be a sk8er thing ;) I almost got the pink mini ipod but couldn't find any when I was shopping around. I love that you got it engraved...v cool! Looking forward to seeing your wips! take care!

love your ipod. its so cute and great project lineup. i really want to encourage you to pick up audrey, but seeing that i haven't touched it (or any sweaters for that matter)since i last posted about it, i don't feel like its right. maybe i'll get to finishing so i can help cheer you on. and man i have been wanting to knit banff for ages.

Super ipod! Mine is blue and my husband got it for me when I was training for my marathon. It says, "Mini-me loves mini-you." Awwww.

You CAN finish your projects. You have to finish Audrey, it's a great sweater. I wear mine alot!

Hey sweet H! Love the iPod--that C is a keeper! It seems like everyone has an iPod but me... maybe I will drop a hint to Kris :)

Oh, I am so excited about your Clapotis. I am really tempted to go back to FAS and buy that Blue Heron yarn that looked like sherbet--remember?

I think it's a good idea that you finish your current works in progress before starting new ones. I never try to have more than three things going at once, or I feel like I'll never finish. Plus, you have that fabulous cocoa tweed to motivate you!

Hey! My boyfriend got me a pink ipod mini for christmas. I named it Pinku-Chan and i love it!!!! :D yay they come in so useful. Can't wait to see your hoodie sweater when it's done!
