Seabourn Mediterranean Cruise

Seabourn Mediterranean Cruise

The luxurious Quest cruise ship from Seabourn has launched Mediterranean cruise service this month. The Quest is the latest edition to the Seabourn Odyssey-class fleet, and has been anticipated for quite some time. The ship weighs in at 32,000 tons and offers sumptuous spa, 24/7 room service and four restaurants run by on-board celebrity chef Charlie Palmer.

The Quest is 3 times larger than smaller ships operated by Seabourn, but only carries twice the number of passengers at a full capacity of 450. That means guests will enjoy a feeling of more space and privacy onboard, as well as the highly regarded Seabourn traditions of open bar and no tipping. Cruisers on the early sailings report that the ship surpassed all of their expectations, yet some complained that the service on the smaller Seabourn ships was superior to that on the Quest.
